Tocumen International Airport Expansion Program

Panama

The expansion of Tocumen International Airport Terminal (T2) aims to meet a demand of 15 million passengers annually. The new T2 interconnects with the existing Terminal (T1), forming a single airport complex with the ability to optimize operations, consolidating Panama as the Hub of the Americas, and strengthening the demand for new flight frequencies, new airlines, and thousands of passengers who will enter the country daily and make connections through Panama.

CSA was part of the consortium that carried out the Program Management and Construction Management for this project, and provided design oversight, inspection services, construction oversight, and cost control services. Because of the high-quality service CSA and the consortium have been providing for our client, our contract has been extended several times.

This project received ENR’s 7th Annual Global Best Projects Award in the Airport/Port category in 2019.
