03/08/2011 CSA Design/Build Projects in Panama

CSA continues to increase its participation in projects that employ the design/build delivery method. This delivery approach requires developing strong trusting relationships with contractors that share common values and a commitment to quality results.

One of these relationships is with MCM, a Miami-based construction firm with a long tradition in infrastructure work. CSA has already teamed up with MCM on several projects in Florida and Panama, and plans to continue developing design/build projects in these markets. The MCM-CSA team has recently completed an important roadway I-95 project in Florida. In Panama, the team has just began the $80M rehabilitation of the Puente de las Americas landmark bridge over the Panama Canal, and has also been awarded two more projects: a water supply system in Guabito and an Overpass in Panama City.

CSA has also recently been awarded another design-build water project in Panama with GlobeTec Construction.
