This building is the first to be developed for senior rental in Chicago’s Uptown neighborhood in the past few years, at rates that are within the means of the predominant income in the area. The challenge was to relate to the scale of the adjacent residential neighborhood while inserting a structure of distinguished and exciting architectural style. The new residence provides underground parking for 98 cars and retail on the ground floor. The apartment units are 2 or 3 bedrooms, all with balconies.
