Casillas de Palmas is located within the Palmas del Mar Resort in Humacao, Puerto Rico. The complex is composed of 30 "villa" style living units, each with two parking spaces, and one golf-cart parking space. All buildings include elevators, a main emergency generator to provide backup power, and a central air conditioning system in each unit.

CSA's services included conducting an economic analysis on the feasibility of the project; government and environmental permitting (from preliminary development to construction documents); site development for all structures, streets, parking, utilities, recreational facilities, including swimming pool and golf cart parking, and a detention pond design to eliminate any impact on storm water drainage.

The site design included primary, secondary and telephone distribution systems with site lighting, electrical substations, and emergency power generators. The power generators have the capacity of operating continuously for one week, including the power and telephone facilities for the complex's control access system. CSA designed the air conditioning system, and the potable water, sanitary and storm plumbing systems for the project, including those for the recreational facilities and swimming pool.
