CSA’s Fernando Padilla to Lead Discussion at CREF 2025: Pioneering Puerto Rico’s Path to 100% Renewable Energy

CSA is proud to announce that CSA’s Vice President of Energy, Fernando Padilla, will be a panelist at the 17th annual Caribbean Renewable Energy Forum (CREF), taking place from May 7-9, 2025, at the JW Marriott Marquis in Miami, Florida. Fernando will join key energy leaders, Nick Pastrana Power Solar Commercial Developments Director, and María Hilda Rivera LUMA Director of Grid Modernization, on May 9th to discuss the topic: “Puerto Rico: Utility-Scale vs. Distributed Generation – An Unexpected Path to 100% by 2050?”

#CREF is the premier annual gathering for regional and international stakeholders dedicated to accelerating the Caribbean’s clean energy transition. This event brings together government leaders, utilities, investors, developers, and innovators to discuss solutions for building a resilient, low-carbon energy future.

The panel discussion, moderated by Roberto EstevezGlobal Energy Alliance for People and the Planet GEAPP Country Delivery Manager for Latin America and Caribbean, will delve into the pathways for Puerto Rico to achieve its ambitious goal of 100% renewable energy by 2050.
