CORCO Industrial Wastewater Treatment Plant

The Commonwealth Oil Refining Company (CORCO) developed a project to provide treatment to a significant volume of a special wastewater that is currently stored at their facilities in Peñuelas. The project is necessary to free existing fuel storage tank capacity that can be used for revenue-producing oil storage operations. NewFields is the firm providing consulting and engineering services to CORCO for this project, including the process design and discharge permit for a new industrial wastewater treatment plant. NewFields requested CSA to provide the civil/site, structural and architectural design and permitting services required for the project. The project is currently under construction, where NewFields also contracted CSA to perform construction management, design services during construction, and general project management services.
