Panama National Institute of Aqueduct and Sewers (IDAAN, by its acronym in Spanish), with the objective of improving the provision of drinking water for the sectors of Panama, West Panama and Colon, executed the construction of water purification projects that will be providing a solution to the problem of water supply and will also benefit more than 500,000 inhabitants projected by 2040. IDAAN selected ETAP Panamá-Colón, comprised of the firms AYESA and CSA, as project manager and main representative of the entity with the Contractor(s) developing projects at the Gamboa Drinking Water Treatment Plant, Sabanitas II Potable Water Treatment Plant, the New Treatment Plant Module in the Federico Guardia Conte (Chilibre) Potable Water Treatment Plant and Eng. José G. Rodriguez Drinking Water Treatment Plant in Howard.
