DEP PS-DES-1 Wastewater Pumping Stations Rehabilitation – Mersereau, Mayflower & Richmond Ave. Pumping Stations

CSA is providing HVAC and Plumbing design engineering services to HDR for the comprehensive rehabilitation program at three existing wastewater pumping stations on Staten Island, New York. The overall State of Good Repair (SOGR) Program aims to enhance the reliability of these stations by incorporating resilient, sustainable, and low-maintenance designs with the goal of achieving Envision certification.

The scope of services includes the conversion of two pumping stations into wet pit submersible stations, as well as the replacement of existing wet pit submersible pumps at the third station. All three stations will have their existing mechanical systems replaced, including HVAC equipment and Plumbing. CSA’s HVAC design packages encompass demolition plans, HVAC Plans and Sections, Equipment Schedules, Control Schematics, Combustible Gas Detection systems, and Diesel Generator Fuel Flow systems. Plumbing design packages consist of Wet Well Pump Room and Pump Building Demolition Plans, Utilities Plans, Water Service Plans, and Riser Diagrams.
