CSA San Juan joined Scuba Dogs Society for the International Coastal Cleanup Day!

This weekend, our #CSA Puerto Rico team proudly participated in the annual Ocean Conservancy’s International Coastal Cleanup. Thousands of people across the globe got together for this event to clean our oceans’ coasts as an effort to continuously protect our natural resources and ecosystem.

Our #TeamCSA partnered with @ScubaDogsSociety, the non-profit organization that led the island’s coastal cleanup activity along with their families and friends cleaned Puerto Chico’s beach in the east coast. The team collected 670 pounds of garbage in total! The groups collective efforts last Saturday will have a real impact on the island’s beauty and the long-term ability of the ecosystem to thrive. CSA recognizes the connection between preserving natural spaces and helping people.

Caring for the environment and working together to give back to the communities that we live in, are part of CSA’s Guiding Principles. Our Guiding Principles are part of who we an organization and are represented in our people, our work, and our culture.  Efforts like these both help conserve our resources and keep our communities safe. This annual cleanup continues to raise awareness on the importance of proper waste management and the protection of our environment. These values are intrinsically embodied in our DNA and who we are as a company.

Additionally, more than 4,000 volunteers joined Scuba Dogs Society and Para la Naturaleza Organization this year to collect waste across 167 sites island wide. #CSA is proud to be part of a local and global effort that protects our communities, our environment, and our ecosystem, not only for the benefit of this generation but also for the generations to come.  #WeAreCSA
