Must be able to read, understand and interpret engineering/construction plans, drawings and technical specifications pertinent to water/sewer pipelines (small diameter) and sewage pump stations.
Understanding of backfill type and compaction standards, paving subgrade standards, excavation specifications, types and quality of materials generally used in civil engineering and roadway projects; tolerances, finishes, and other indicators of quality workmanship and materials, general terminology and mechanical drawing symbology utilized in civil engineering, testing and sampling procedures for construction materials; production of daily construction field inspection reports, punch-list processing and final inspection.
Utilities relation, materials testing, land surveying, designing, or underground electronic location of underground utilities.
High School diploma or GED.
Valid FL Driver’s License (safe driver).
FDOT Intermediate MOT, CTQP Asphalt Roadway Level I, CTQP Earthwork Construction Inspection Level I, Nuclear Radiation Safety, CTQP Final Estimates I, Florida Stormwater, Erosion and Sediment Control Training Certification.
